Commission a Custom Installation

Every CityWood installation is designed from the ground up for the space it will inhabit. Hubert Roguski, architect, designer, and founder of CityWood โ€” works directly with each client to understand the space: its architecture, scale, and the city it should represent. The result is a bespoke 3D layered wooden city map, built to become a defining element of its interior.

Previous commissions include installations for Goldman Sachs in Oakland, the Lana by Dorchester Collection hotel in Dubai, the Pointe-ร -Calliรจre Museum in Montreal, and hotel and private clients across Europe, the Middle East, and the United States.

How a Commission Works

Step 1 - Conversation
Every project begins with a conversation about the space. Where is it? What city should it represent? What atmosphere should the piece create? There are no fixed templates - each installation is designed individually.

Step 2 - Design
Hubert develops the design: the map area, the layering, the materials, the dimensions, and the relationship between the piece and the architecture around it.
You receive a detailed design proposal before production begins.

Step 3 - Installation
The finished piece is produced in the CityWood studio and delivered and installed worldwide. Lead times vary by scale and complexity, discussed during the design phase.
