Commission a Custom Installation
Every CityWood installation is designed from the ground up for the space it will inhabit. Hubert Roguski, architect, designer, and founder of CityWood — works directly with each client to understand the space: its architecture, scale, and the city it should represent. The result is a bespoke 3D layered wooden city map, built to become a defining element of its interior.
Previous commissions include installations for Goldman Sachs in Oakland, the Lana by Dorchester Collection hotel in Dubai, the Pointe-à-Callière Museum in Montreal, and hotel and private clients across Europe, the Middle East, and the United States.
How a Commission Works
Step 1 - Conversation
Every project begins with a conversation about the space. Where is it? What city should it represent? What atmosphere should the piece create? There are no fixed templates - each installation is designed individually.
Step 2 - Design
Hubert develops the design: the map area, the layering, the materials, the dimensions, and the relationship between the piece and the architecture around it.
You receive a detailed design proposal before production begins.
Step 3 - Installation
The finished piece is produced in the CityWood studio and delivered and installed worldwide. Lead times vary by scale and complexity, discussed during the design phase.
Hubert responds to all commission enquiries personally.
We aim to reply within 1–2 business days.
